Troop Mitre has three regularly occurring events.
Alumnae Reunions are held every five years. At these events, alumnae may bring their family and friends for a lively weekend of singing, hiking, crafts, and other camp activities, along with plenty of time to reconnect with friends. The next reunion will be at Camp Mitre Peak in 2027. Plans are underway, and dates will be announced soon.
Fall Work Weekend is held annually the weekend of the third Saturday of October. At Work Weekend, we rebuild, repaint, repair, and restore wherever there is a need at camp. There is a job for every skill level. While we work, we catch up with our friends and make new ones, sing and enjoy being at our favorite camp. 2026 Work Weekend will be held October 15-18. Registration will open by September 1.
Spring Cleaning is held annually in April. We deep clean the buildings and outdoor areas so that Camp Mitre Peak is ready for Girl Scouts to attend summer camp. There is plenty of time to renew friendships and enjoy being at camp. The 2026 Spring Cleaning will be held April 16-19. Registration will open by early March.
