Troop Mitre sponsors these events at Camp Mitre Peak. Everyone who loves Camp Mitre Peak and wants to help maintain our legacy is welcome and encouraged to attend.
SPRING CLEANING WEEKEND
Each April we gather to deep clean and prep Camp Mitre Peak for summer camp. Whether you prefer outdoor or indoor tasks, there will be one for you. While we work, we catch up with friends, make new friends, laugh, sing, and enjoy being at Mitre. Our volunteer cooks always surprise and delight us with amazing meals. Mark your calendar and join us April 16-19, 2026. Registration information will be available by the end of February.

FALL WORK WEEKEND
This popular event is held each year the weekend of the third Saturday in October. Troop Mitre volunteers repaint, repair, and restore wherever there is a need at camp. There’s a task for every skill level, and this is a great way to learn new skills. Experience the fabulous fall weather of the Davis Mountains while making a real contribution to Camp and catching up with new and old friends. Our next Work Weekend will take place October 15-18, 2026. Registration information will be available by the end of August.

ALUMNI REUNION
These fabulous reunions take place at Camp Mitre Peak every five years, and the next reunion will be in the summer of 2027. Bring your family and friends and reconnect with your favorite camp and the friends you made there. Sing, hike, swim, explore, create, or just relax and visit. Share memories and make new ones all in the shadow of Mitre Peak. Planning for the 2027 reunion is now underway, and dates will be announced soon! Watch this space for more information.

MINI-REUNION
In April 2025, we held a smaller, more relaxed reunion. We visited and hiked and explored and spent some time inside because it SNOWED! It was a great event since it’s a long time between the 5-year reunions, and it’s always fun to be at Mitre! Sometime between the 2027 reunion and the 2032 reunion, we’ll probably do this again, but we can’t promise it will snow!
